drs. R.J. (Rick) Voet
Rick (1968) studied business economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He has additionally completed a Register Valuator course at the Rotterdam School of Management.
Rick joined the ING bank in 1994 as Regional Director, where he gained experience in purchasing and selling medium-sized companies and valuations.
Rick worked at Fortis Bank from 2000 until 2008. As a part of the Corporate Banking department, with a minimal client turnover of € 250 million, he was responsible for the Food & Beverage sector. During this period, he restructured bad credit and provided acquisition financing to internationally expanding companies. While working at Fortis, Rick closely cooperated with renowned Investment Banks and gained international experience at Board level. During the last three years he was responsible for acquisition financing for medium-sized companies.
In 2008 Rick became co-founder of Maasdael Corporate Finance. In recent years he acted as an advisor during several transactions, on both acquisition and selling sides, as well as significant financial restructuring projects.
Rick is involved in various training institutes, including the Rotterdam School of Management. He is regularly consulted by courts, lawyers and tax specialists with regard to the valuation of businesses.
