Intrixo is a temporary employment agency specializing in the placement of migrant workers, with a strong focus on candidates from Eastern Europe. The company recruits staff through a network of exclusively cooperating recruitment partners and provides employment to an average of approximately 1,700 migrant workers. Intrixo's clients are primarily active in the agricultural sector, the packaging industry, and logistics/distribution activities. The company has built a strong regional position in the Westland area.
The shareholder has decided to focus on other activities, specifically the further expansion and exploitation of his real estate portfolio.
The challenge
The company is strongly focused on service to its customers. The processes are not yet fully automated and the internal financial administration did not connect one-on-one with the annual accounts, which necessitated in-depth research into the quality of the presented figures for 2024 and 2025. In addition, the shareholders know each other in a personal capacity, and mutual agreements were also made regarding the process.
To guarantee the entire process, including the agreements made, frequent coordination was required between all parties involved. This was important to avoid discussion at a later stage about agreements made, both substantively and in terms of planning.
Beyond the deal
Together with the company, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the figures, thoroughly examining the financial information to establish its quality and substantiation. We transparently shared and aligned our approach and the steps taken with the buyer throughout the process.
In addition, we supported the shareholder during the negotiations, while at the same time leaving room for them to conduct these negotiations themselves. This was always done in alignment with the wishes of the shareholder, which were paramount throughout the entire process.
The process resulted in a successful sale of Intrixo to Home of People. After Rayif founded the company himself in 1999, this era came to an end after approximately 25 years. For the entrepreneur, this is of course difficult to let go, but at the same time it marks a moment of departure from the temporary employment sector. However, he remains involved as a real estate operator, with the lease to Intrixo continuing for the coming years.
The value of sector knowledge
Compliance with applicable laws and regulations is an important condition in the temporary employment sector. Increasing regulation adds extra complexity and price pressure, resulting in further consolidation within the sector to achieve economies of scale and efficiency.
For other companies in the sector, this underlines the importance of further professionalization and scalability. Businesses that invest in processes, compliance, and transparency in a timely manner increase their agility in a changing market and strengthen their position towards both clients and potential buyers.
