Jop is an Associate at Maasdael. He supports sales and financing processes by preparing and developing presentations, performing financial analyses and valuations, and coordinating due diligence processes. He also maintains contact with clients and external parties throughout the process.

In his way of working, Jop is thorough, structured, and practical. He likes to make complex issues clear and manageable, so that a suitable solution can be reached together. In doing so, he works goal-oriented and takes responsibility for the final result. The Rotterdam mentality fits in well with this: tackling hands-on, communicating clearly, and doing what is necessary. Collaboration is central to him, both with clients and colleagues. He highly values trust, clear communication, and keeping agreements, with the goal of achieving a result that the client is more than satisfied with.

Jop started at Maasdael as an intern in November 2021. After his internship, he remained with the firm as a working student alongside his studies from May 2022. After completing his studies, he joined full-time in October 2025. He followed the LL.M. / M.Sc. (mr. drs.) program at Erasmus University Rotterdam and completed master's degrees in Financial Economics and Direct Taxes.
