The approaching end of the fund term of the private equity firm holding a majority stake prompted the sale of shares.
The challenge
In recent years, the company has set a new strategic course and broadened its service offering, which required mapping these activities properly and clarifying how they contribute to earning capacity. This demanded close coordination with management and a good understanding of the internal administration.
Beyond the deal
To give potential buyers a clear picture, we prepared an information memorandum in which the split of the various activities is clearly worked out, both qualitatively and financially. In addition, we developed comprehensive analyses of different buyer types and how the activities could align with their business. Throughout the process, we worked closely with the company's finance department to perform additional analyses on the business models.
This approach led to the successful sale of 100% of the shares to KPN. This gives the company the opportunity to grow further in the business market in the field of international telephony, contact center solutions and customer experience, with the help of KPN's resources.
