Geert advises on acquisitions and complex financing processes.

He has over thirty years of experience in the financial sector and knows both sides of the table. He knows how banks and investors view a business. He uses this insight to find the right structure and the right party for the entrepreneur.

Geert worked intensively with family businesses and investment firms for many years. He knows that in an acquisition or succession, more is at stake than just money: family relationships, continuity, and the entrepreneur's life's work. He takes this explicitly into account in every process.

After studying International Marketing at Hogeschool Zwolle and Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Geert worked at ABN AMRO and FMO. There, he guided complex project finance and capital market transactions and was involved in equity investments as an investor. At ING, he was responsible for the Midmarket M&A team and the structured lending team. From 2017, as regional director, he led the large corporate segment in the Southwest Netherlands. Geert is a guest lecturer in Finance at the supervisory board program of Erasmus University.
